These tomatoes are heat-tolerant, making them an excellent choice for southern gardens, and they are also disease-resistant. In fact, even in the sweltering heat of July, I'm still able to harvest tomatoes in Florida.

This heirloom salad/cherry tomato produces fruits that are approximately 2 inches in diameter. The indeterminate vines can reach up to 10 feet in length, yet they still have a very large stem that supports the vines and fruits. For optimal results, it is recommended to grow these tomatoes on a trellis or other form of support.

From germination to table, the entire process takes 85 to 90 days, although some sources may list a shorter timeframe of 70 days from transplant, which can be considered a somewhat arbitrary estimate. Regardless of the exact timeframe, these tomatoes boast an excellent, authentic tomato flavor that is not overly sweet, making them perfect for salads or enjoyment as standalone snacks.
